titleOfInvention | Alcohol compound having dioxane structure and process for producing the same |
abstract | Provided are alcohol compounds useful as raw materials and intermediates for paints, adhesives, pharmaceuticals, cosmetics, food additives, surfactants and the like, and methods for producing the compounds. An alcohol compound represented by the following general formula (1). (In the formula, A represents an aromatic ring selected from the group consisting of benzene, naphthalene, anthracene, phenanthrene, and pyrene. R 1 represents an alkyl group having 1 to 12 carbon atoms, substituted or unsubstituted carbon atoms having 6 to 10 carbon atoms. N represents an integer of 0 to 4. However, when A is benzene, n represents an integer of 1 to 4. When n represents an integer of 2 to 4, a plurality of R 1 in these may be the same or different from each other, and R 2 represents a hydrogen atom, a methyl group or an ethyl group. |
