titleOfInvention | Medical obturator |
abstract | The medical obturator has a core part and a swelling part provided around the core part. The core part has a function of a reinforcing member that reinforces the swelling part. This core part is comprised with the rod-shaped wire, and has comprised linear form. The swelling part is made of a swellable material that absorbs liquid and swells (expands) to increase its volume. The swollen portion can swell at the site where the bronchus is blocked (the site to be closed) until the bronchus is blocked by being in close contact with the inner wall of the bronchus. The swelling part is provided along the wire of the core part 2, covers the whole wire (core part), has a rod shape, and the medical obturator has a cylindrical shape. |
