titleOfInvention | Normal pressure cationic dyeable polyester and fiber |
abstract | An object of the present invention is to provide a normal pressure cationic dyeable polyester capable of cationic dyeing under normal pressure and having high strength. The subject is a polyester whose main repeating unit is composed of ethylene terephthalate, and a compound (B) such as a metal salt of sulfoisophthalic acid (A) and a phosphonium salt of sulfoisophthalic acid in the acid component constituting the polyester. This can be solved by a normal pressure cationic dyeable polyester characterized in that it is a copolyester containing two mathematical expressions in a state satisfying simultaneously. Preferably, the glass transition temperature of the copolyester is in the range of 70 to 85 ° C., and the intrinsic viscosity of the copolyester is in the range of 0.55 to 1.00 dL / g. A polyester fiber can be provided by melt spinning the copolymerized polyester. |
