abstract | A simple, highly accurate and versatile measurement method for selectively detecting or quantifying only HMW adiponectin. The present invention recognizes an S—S binding site contributing to intermolecular binding of adiponectin or its vicinity, and specifically recognizes macromolecular adiponectin when used as a primary antibody and a secondary antibody in a sandwich immunoassay system.
