abstract A method for producing a fluorine-containing bissulfonylimide ammonium salt and lithium salt using a high recovery rate, a small number of steps, and a practical and efficient method. Further, the present invention provides a highly pure ammonium salt of fluorine-containing bissulfonylimide that is useful in the method for producing the lithium salt. A purified formula characterized by suspending a particulate solid (I) of a salt represented by formula (1) in a solvent comprising an etheric oxygen atom-containing compound and then separating the solvent by filtration. (1) The manufacturing method of particulate solid (II) of the salt represented. [HNR 3] + [Q 1 -SO 2 -N-SO 2 -Q 2] - (1) In the formula, R may be the same or different and each represents a hydrogen atom or an alkyl group having 1 to 10 carbon atoms, and Q 1 and Q 2 are each independently a monovalent fluorine-containing organic group, or Q 1 and Q 2 represents a bivalent fluorinated organic group that together form.
