titleOfInvention Polytetrafluoroethylene aqueous dispersion and process for producing the same
abstract The present invention provides an aqueous PTFE dispersion that does not contain ammonium perfluorooctanoate and its salt [PFOA] and that can obtain a fine powder suitable for paste extrusion molding, and a method for producing the same. The present invention relates to a perfluorocarboxylic acid or a salt of the above perfluorocarboxylic acid, wherein the number of carbon atoms bonded to fluorine atoms is 5 to 6, and the total number of carbon atoms and oxygen atoms constituting the main chain is 9 to 12 Non-melt processable polytetrafluoroethylene [PTFE] particles are dispersed in an aqueous medium, and the non-melt processable PTFE particles have an average particle diameter of 150 to 350 nm and a standard specific gravity. [SSG] is an aqueous PTFE dispersion characterized by being 2.14 to 2.20.
