titleOfInvention | A method for diagnosing acute ischemic disease using activated hepcidin as an index |
abstract | [Problem] The present invention provides a method for examining acute ischemic disease using active hepcidin as an index, a method for determining the timing of administration of a drug for use in the treatment of the disease, and a kit for use in these methods. For the purpose. [Solution] In order to solve the above problems, the present inventors analyzed a serum proteome pattern peculiar to acute myocardial infarction patients using SELDI-TOF-MS. As a result, it was revealed that hepcidin 20 has a very high correlation with acute myocardial infarction. Furthermore, it was found that the blood concentration of hepcidin 20 increased rapidly at the onset of the disease, particularly at the onset of the disease, and showed a high value within 6 hours, particularly within 4 hours of the onset. The present invention enables early diagnosis of acute ischemic disease. |
