abstract | It is an object of the present invention to provide a composition for a recording material that contains a diphenylsulfone cross-linking compound and a monohydroxydiphenylsulfone derivative and has excellent color development characteristics and image storage stability. A recording material composition containing at least one diphenylsulfone crosslinked compound and at least one monohydroxydiphenylsulfone derivative, wherein the dihydroxysulfone derivative is reacted with a dihalide to react the diphenylsulfone crosslinked compound. Recording material obtained by subsequently reacting a dihydroxyphenylsulfone derivative with a monohalide to produce at least one monohydroxydiphenylsulfone derivative and precipitating both from a solvent Composition. |
