abstract | Provided is a method for producing a fluorine-containing polymer aqueous dispersion in which the content of the fluorine-containing emulsifier is reduced by efficiently adsorbing and removing the fluorine-containing emulsifier from the fluorine-containing polymer aqueous dispersion using a weakly basic anion exchange resin. An organic carboxylic acid represented by the following general formula (1) is added to a fluorine-containing polymer aqueous dispersion containing a fluorine-containing emulsifier, and then contacted with a weakly basic anion exchange resin to obtain a fluorine-containing emulsifier. A method for producing a fluorine-containing polymer aqueous dispersion in which the content of a fluorine-containing emulsifier to be removed by adsorption is reduced.
