abstract Disclosed is a compound that can be used for the prevention and / or treatment of diseases involving 5-HT 2B receptor and 5-HT 7 receptor, particularly for the treatment of irritable bowel syndrome (IBS). A pyrrole derivative or a pharmaceutically acceptable salt thereof having a guanidinocarbonyl group or an amide group as a substituent at the 3-position is a 5-HT 2B receptor or a 5-HT 7 receptor. Both were found to have strong antagonism. In addition, the compound of the present invention having antagonistic activity at both receptors showed a better pharmacological action as compared with the case where an antagonist selective to one receptor was used alone. From the above, the compounds of the present invention are useful for the prevention and / or treatment of diseases involving 5-HT 2B receptor and 5-HT 7 receptor, particularly for the treatment of irritable bowel syndrome (IBS).
