titleOfInvention Stripper used to separate paper from gypsum-paper joint
abstract The stripping solution of the present invention is used for stripping paper from a gypsum-paper joined body such as gypsum board waste, and consists of an aqueous solution of an alkali metal or ammonium carboxylate. The stripping solution is supplied to the surface (paper surface) of the gypsum-paper assembly, and is allowed to permeate the joint surface between the gypsum and the paper so that the carboxylate is present on the joint surface. The paper can be cleanly separated from the gypsum. Furthermore, by mixing a nonionic surfactant or a water-soluble organic solvent with the above-described stripping solution, the stripping solution can be rapidly and reliably permeated into the joint surface between gypsum and paper.
