abstract Provided is an intraocular lens insertion device capable of smoothly extruding a lens installed in advance. The intraocular lens insertion device 1 includes a main body 3 including a lens installation unit 8 that installs the intraocular lens 2, a transition unit 22 that deforms the intraocular lens 2, and a nozzle unit 21 that discharges the intraocular lens 2. And a lens push-out mechanism 4 that pushes out the intraocular lens 2 installed in the lens installation unit 8. Only the transition part 22 and the nozzle part 21 were provided with a hydrophilic coating. The lens installation unit 8 includes a lens holding base 12 that holds the lens 2 at the periphery of the lens 2. The lens holding base 12 has an upper surface 12a made of a rough surface.
