titleOfInvention | Yeast host, transformant and method for producing heterologous protein |
abstract | Improve the production efficiency of heterologous proteins in transformants using yeast as a host. Host for expressing a foreign gene that deletes or inactivates one or more genes selected from the protease-related genes of Schizosaccharomyces pombe (especially metalloprotease genes and serine protease genes) A method wherein the gene is deleted or inactivated, a transformant obtained by introducing a foreign gene into the host, and a method for producing a heterologous protein using the transformant. As a protease-related gene, one or more genes selected from the group consisting of psp3 (SPAC1006.01), sxa2 (SPAC1296.03c), ppp51 (SPAC22G7.01c) and ppp52 (SPBC18A7.01), or a metalloprotease gene Two or more genes selected from the group consisting of a group and a serine protease gene group are preferred. In particular, at least three of psp3 (SPAC1006.01), isp6 (SPAC4A8.04), and ppp53 (SPAP14E8.04) are preferable, and four of them, ppp16 (SPBC1711.12), and ppp22 ( Five genes deleted or inactivated with addition of SPBC14C8.03) are preferred. |
