titleOfInvention | Reporter gene assay |
abstract | Provided is a more accurate method for measuring the transcriptional regulatory activity of a test substance. A test substance and a detection antibody are brought into contact with a cell having a vector in which a reporter gene containing a gene encoding an epitope tag is connected downstream of a transcription factor recognition sequence and a base sequence necessary for transcription initiation. A reporter gene assay method has been found which comprises a step of detecting a phenomenon caused by the proximity of each other to the transcriptional regulatory mechanism of the test substance and relating it to the action of the test substance. |
