titleOfInvention Method for maintaining performance in electrolyzed functional water generator
abstract The present invention is provided with an electrolysis chamber (55) into which raw water to be electrolyzed is introduced, a diaphragm (60) made of a cation exchange membrane that separates the electrolysis chamber from the outside of the electrolysis chamber, and a membrane sandwiched between the outside and inside of the electrolysis chamber. The electrolyzed functional water generating apparatus comprises an electrolytic cell having a pair of electrode plates and an electrode plate (62) outside the electrolysis chamber provided in contact with the diaphragm. In this state, the electrode plate (64) provided in the electrolysis chamber is used as a cathode, while the electrode plate provided outside the electrolysis chamber is used as an anode. The membrane is regenerated by desorbing cations such as adsorbed calcium ions and magnesium ions.
