An object of the present invention is to provide a novel thiazole compound having a specific inhibitory action on phosphodiesterase 4. The present invention relates to a compound represented by the general formula (1), an optically active form thereof, or a salt thereof: [Chemical 1] In the formula, R1 represents a diC1-6 alkoxyphenyl group. R2 represents any of the following groups (a) to (t): (a) phenyl group; (b) naphthyl group; (c) pyridyl group; (d) furyl group; (e) thienyl group; (g) thiazolyl group; (h) pyrrolyl group; (i) imidazolyl group; (j) tetrazolyl group; (k) pyrazinyl group; (l) thienothienyl group; (m) benzothienyl group; (O) benzoimidazolyl group; (p) indazolyl group; (q) quinolyl group; (r) 1,2,3,4-tetrahydroquinolyl group; (s) quinoxalinyl group; and (t) 1, 3-benzodioxolyl group. A represents any one of the following groups (i) to (vi): (i) group -CO-B- (B represents a C1-6 alkylene group); (ii) group -CO-Ba- ( Ba represents a C2-6 alkenylene group); (iii) group -CH (OH) -B-; (iv) group -COCH (COOR3) -Bb- (R3 represents a C1-6 alkyl group, Bb Represents a C1-6 alkylene group); and (v) a group -Bc- (Bc represents a C2-6 alkylene group). |
