abstract | Ralstonia / eutropha is expected to be the most suitable host for industrial production of P (3HB-co-3HH) from the viewpoints of safety, high productivity, and availability of inexpensive carbon sources. However, compared with a low 3HH composition P (3HB-co-3HH) production system, a safe and inexpensive production system of a high 3HH composition P (3HB-co-3HH) suitable for processing into a film or the like utilizing flexible properties. Therefore, the development of a high production system has been desired. The present invention relates to a novel polyester synthase expression plasmid for producing P (3HB-co-3HH) having a high 3HH composition exhibiting flexible properties suitable for processing into a film or the like, and a high 3HH composition P containing the plasmid. This is a safe and inexpensive method for producing a transformant having (3HB-co-3HH) synthesis ability and a high 3HH composition P (3HB-co-3HH) using the transformant. |
