Genome-modified cells acclimated to serum |
abstract |
There is a need for the development of host cells capable of producing glycoprotein compositions such as antibody compositions useful for pharmaceutical development. The present invention knocks out a genomic gene of an enzyme involved in a sugar chain modification in which the 1-position of fucose is α-linked to the 6-position of N-acetylglucosamine at the reducing end of an N-glycoside-linked complex sugar chain, adapted to a serum-free medium. And a method for producing a glycoprotein composition using the cells. |
