abstract The present invention provides a 2,2,2-trifluoro-N-aryl-acetamide represented by the general formula (1), at least one selected from the group consisting of phosphorus oxychloride and diphenyl phosphate chloride, The present invention relates to a method for producing N-aryl-2,2,2-trifluoroacetimidoyl chloride represented by the general formula (2), in which a tertiary amine is reacted in an organic solvent. The present invention also provides an N-aryl-2,2,2-trifluoroacetimidoyl chloride represented by the general formula (2) and an azide in an aromatic hydrocarbon solvent in the presence of an amine salt. The present invention relates to a method for producing 1-aryl-5- (trifluoromethyl) -1H-tetrazole represented by the general formula (4) to be reacted.
