abstract | Provided are a means for forming an oxide film on a metal surface, a means for repairing an oxide film defect, a high-performance electrolytic capacitor using the means, and an electrolyte thereof. In this method, an oxide film is easily formed on the surface of a metal or its alloy by anodizing using a solution containing an ionic liquid. As an application of this method, an ionic liquid, a solution obtained by adding a salt to an ionic liquid, or a solution obtained by adding an ionic liquid to a conductive polymer or a TCNQ salt is used as an electrolyte. Depending on the method used, an electrolytic capacitor having an oxide film defect repairing means can be formed. |
