titleOfInvention | Biomaterial for bone formation, formulation for injection containing the material, kit for preparing the material, and bone formation method using them |
abstract | The present invention contains, as a biomaterial for bone formation, a) a copolymer of hydroxycarboxylic acid and polyethylene glycol, b) polyethylene glycol, c) calcium phosphate, and d) a pharmacologically active substance that promotes bone formation. The present invention provides a kit containing the composition or a combination thereof. The composition of the present invention can be injected and administered to a desired bone formation site, and can be easily solidified in vivo, and further promotes bone formation for a period necessary for bone formation in vivo. It is useful as an osteogenic biomaterial that achieves good bone formation by itself being decomposed while releasing. |
