An object of the present invention is to provide a novel means for promoting bone mineralization at a desired site in a living body. By adding DMP1 (Dentin matrix protein 1) to the bone tissue and making it into a negative ion charge state, the extracellular matrix binds to calcium phosphate, and bone mineralization is promoted. By specifically expressing DMP1 in bone tissue, an appropriate amount of DMP1 is produced, and the matrix substance and calcium phosphate bind to each other, thereby increasing the bone density and thus promoting bone mineralization without causing side effects on bone formation.
