In atopic dermatitis patients and psoriasis patients, a gene whose expression level was different between the rash and non-rash areas was found. In addition, we found genes whose expression levels are different between the non-rash area and normal subjects of these diseases. And it was clarified that these genes are useful as indicators in screening for atopic dermatitis or psoriasis and screening for therapeutic drugs. That is, the present invention provides a method for examining atopic dermatitis or psoriasis and a method for screening compounds for the treatment of these diseases based on the comparison of the expression levels of the indicator genes thus found. |
