titleOfInvention | Process for producing optically active 1-substituted amino-2,3-epoxypropane, synthetic intermediate thereof, and process for producing them |
abstract | Optically active 1-substituted amino-2,3-propanediol is used as a raw material, and optically active 1-substituted amino-2,3-epoxypropane, which is useful as an intermediate for producing agricultural chemicals and pharmaceuticals, is efficient and industrially advantageous. The production method and useful intermediates are provided. Specifically, the optically active 1-substituted amino-2,3-propanediol (1) is reacted with ortho acid esters (2) or thionyl chloride (3) to produce a cyclic optically active compound (4). Then, a ring-opening reagent having the ability to introduce a halogen atom X is allowed to act to produce a compound (5) having a halogen atom, and finally optically active 1-substituted amino-2,3-epoxy is obtained by a ring-closing reaction with a base. Propane (6) is produced. |
