titleOfInvention Immobilized colloidal crystal and method for producing the same
abstract An object of the present invention is to provide a mechanically stable immobilized colloidal crystal in which the three-dimensional regularity of the fine particle array is sufficiently maintained. In the present invention, colloidal crystals in which colloidal particles are dispersed in a solvent containing a polymerizable substance and regularly arranged are fixed by maintaining the regular arrangement of fine particles by polymerizing the polymerizable substance. A colloidal crystal, the adjacent fine particles are not substantially in contact with each other, the difference in peak position between the reflection spectrum and the transmission spectrum before and after the polymerization is within 3 nm, and heating from room temperature to 350 ° C. Those having a weight loss within 1% by weight are preferred immobilized colloidal crystals.
