Aromatic polycarbonate is reacted with water, phenols optionally substituted with C1-C6 aliphatic alcohols or C1-C10 hydrocarbon groups in carbon dioxide supercritical fluid or carbon A depolymerization method of an aromatic polycarbonate, which is reacted with a supercritical fluid of a phenol which may be substituted with an aliphatic alcohol having 1 to 6 carbon atoms or a hydrocarbon group having 1 to 10 carbon atoms. According to this depolymerization method, the aromatic polycarbonate can be depolymerized at a high reaction rate, and the active ingredient produced by the depolymerization can be recovered at a high recovery rate. The active ingredient can be recovered from the aromatic polycarbonate and recycled. |
