titleOfInvention | Acylase gene |
abstract | An object of the present invention is to provide a β-lactam acylase protein belonging to the genus Xanthomonas, a gene encoding the protein, a recombinant vector having the gene, and a transformant containing the recombinant vector. The Xanthomonas citri β-lactam acylase gene was cloned to determine the DNA base sequence and the amino acid sequence predicted therefrom. The protein encoded by this gene was found to be a protein consisting of 637 residues and having a molecular weight of 71 kDa, and had β-lactam acylase activity. |
