abstract The present invention provides a method and an apparatus for manufacturing a health drink containing chlorophyll that can efficiently extract chlorophyll and can be extracted in a liquid state. The chlorophyll-containing silkworm grass 10 is subjected to ultrasonic extraction with an ultrasonic shaker 19 to dissolve in easily volatile alcohol 11, and the residue is separated by filtration or centrifugation, and the contained alcohol 11 is further removed by evaporation. A chlorophyll extract 16 is obtained. Next, the chlorophyll extract 16 and the water 17 are stirred and mixed in the first and second tanks 23 and 24 for alternately storing them, and during the transfer process, the first and second tanks 23 and 24 are used. The emulsification is promoted by the ultrasonic emulsifying device 19 provided in the common pipe 34 communicating with 24.
