titleOfInvention | Sodium ion concentration measuring instrument |
abstract | PURPOSE:To measure an Na ion concn. with high accuracy by detecting the inter-electrode potential difference between a K ion electrode body and Na ion electrode body thereby offsetting the potential occurring in the K ion concn. among the outputs from the Na ion electrode body. CONSTITUTION:The Na ion electrode body 1 having a sensitive film 1a consisting of Na glass outputs ENa+NK=E which is the sum of the electrode proportional to the concns. of the K ion and N ion in urine. The K ion electrode body 4 for which the sensitive film 4a formed by incorporating the valinomycin which exhibits high selectivity by being infected with the K ion into polyvinyl chloride outputs the potential E'K proportional to the K ion concn. regardless of the Na ion concn. in the urine. This potential is made to coincide with the sensitivity coefft. of the K ion shown by the electrode body 1 via an amplifier 5 and is inputted to a differential amplifier 3. EK is thereby offset and ENa is outputted. The Na ion concn. is thus detected with high accuracy. |
