titleOfInvention | Additive for long-lifetime and high-concentration coal-water slurry |
abstract | PURPOSE:To provide the titled additive producing a mutual network structure of coal particles, retaining the low viscosity and self fluidity of a coal slurry for a long period and permitting the pump transportation of the coal slurry, by containing a partially sulfonated product (salt) of PS and a polyphosphoric acid salt. CONSTITUTION:The objective additive contains as essential components (A) (i) a partially sulfonated product (salt) of PS having a weight-average mol.wt. (hereinafter referred to as mol.wt.) of 2,000-500,000 (preferably 4,000-100,000) or (ii) a partially sulfonated product of a mixture of PS having a mol.wt. of 400-10,000 with PS having a mol.wt. of 40,000-500,000 (preferably 50,000-150,000) and (B) a polyphosphoric acid comprising pyrophosphoric acid sodium salt, tripolyphosphoric acid potassium salt, polymetaphosphoric acid sodium salt or the like. The sulfonation degree of the component A is 65-97% (preferably 70-95%) per styrene unit. |
