abstract PURPOSE:To obtain a disposable syringe capable of being slid without using a lubricant, by placing a gasket main body having a predetermined shape composed of an elastic material under a monomer gas atmosphere and performing the low temp. plasma polymerization of a monomer to form a lubricating film. CONSTITUTION:A lubricating film 7 is formed to the surface of a gasket main body 6 using low temp. plasma polymerization. That is, the gasket main body 6 is placed under a monomer gas atmosphere forming the lubricating film by polymerization and low temp. plasma is generated by applying high frequency voltage. Various active seeds are generated from the above-mentioned monomer by the action of this low temp. plasma. These active seeds are mutually reacted to perform polymerization and a lubricating polymer is formed. This polymer is bonded to and accumulated on the surface of the gasket main body 6 to form the lubricating film 7. As the most pref. monomer gas in this method, there is fluorine-containing monomer gas such as tetrafluoromethane, hexafluoromethane, trifluoromethane or pentafluoroethane.
