titleOfInvention | Production of neutral paper |
abstract | PURPOSE: To obtain neutral paper capable of using black pigment in the neutral region in pulp dying, having high opacity by paper making pulp slurry including calcium carbonate as loading material for paper making and sad color agent in the neutral region. CONSTITUTION: The subject neutral paper is obtained by paper making pulp slurry adjusted in paper making pH 6.5 to 9.0, including (A) calcium carbonate as the loading material for paper making, (B) the black pigment dispersed in water as the sad color agent for adjusting brightness, (C) cationic or amphoteric water-soluble polymer. The brightness of the paper is preferably adjusted to 60 to 80% by including 3 to 25 wt.% of A mainly comprising precipitated calcium carbonate and the component B in amount of 5 to 300 ppm based on the fiber weight. |
