titleOfInvention Anti-human lymphotoxin monoclonal antibody, its immobilized product, its labeled compound, hybridoma producing said antibody and their production
abstract PURPOSE:To produce an anti-human lymphotoxin monoclonal antibody, by synthesizing a hybridoma using an antigen consisting of a peptide containing the amino acid sequence of human lymphotoxin and free from cytotoxicity. CONSTITUTION:A peptide containing the total or a part of the amino acid sequence of human lymphotoxin and free from cytotoxicity is used as an antigen to synthesize a hybridoma capable of producing an anti-human lymphotoxin monoclonal antibody (anti-LTMoAb). The hybridoma is cultured and the objective anti-LTMoAb is recovered from the supernatant liquid of the cultured product by a proper method. As an alternative method, the hybridoma is transplanted into the abdominal cavity of a mouse preliminarily subjected to pristane-treatment to effect the proliferation of the hybridoma and the anti- LTMoAb is recovered from the ascites of the mouse.
