titleOfInvention Additive for coal-water slurry having long life and high concentration
abstract PURPOSE:To obtain the titled additive transportable by a pump and directly usable as a boiler fuel, containing a polycyclic aromatic compound, a fatty acid (salt) and a (meth)acrylic acid (co)polymer (salt) as essential components. CONSTITUTION:The aimed additive containing (A) 40-90wt.% compound (salt) obtained by sulfonating a mixture containing (i) 40-70wt.% naphthalene, (ii) 10-40wt.% alkylnaphthalene, (iii) 1-20wt.% anthracene and (iv) 1-15wt.% diphenyl as essential components and then condensing the mixture with formaldehyde, (B) 30-5wt.% 6-22C (preferably 6-10C) fatty acid (salt) and (C) 30-5wt.% homopolymer (salt) of (meth)acrylic acid or copolymer of (meth) acrylic acid and one or more monomers selected from the group consisting of fumaric acid, maleic acid, itaconic acid and crotonic acid as essential components.
