titleOfInvention Additive for coal-water slurry having long life and high concentration
abstract PURPOSE:To obtain the titled additive transportable by a pump and directly usable as a boiler fuel, containing a fatty acid (salt) such as naphthalenesulfonic acid and a (meth)acrylic acid (co)polymer (salt) as essential components. CONSTITUTION:The aimed additive containing (A) 40-90wt.% formaldehyde condensate of (alkyl)naphthalenesulfonic acid or salt thereof, (B) 30-5wt.% 6-22C (preferably 6-10C) fatty acid (salt) and (C) 30-5wt.% homopolymer (salt) of (meth)acrylic acid or copolymer of (meth)acrylic acid and one or more monomers selected from the group consisting of fumaric acid, maleic acid, itaconic acid and crotonic acid as essential components. The amount of the additive used is 0.01-5.0wt.% (preferably 0.03-2.0wt.%) based on coal-water slurry.
