| abstract | PURPOSE:To obtain a cartridge with durability and reliability by providing regulating rings composed of sliding materials to be faced in both inner surfaces of cases faced with the inner and outer peripheral parts of a magnetic device, and rotating the disk while regulating it in an intermediate position of a case. CONSTITUTION:Cases 20a and 20b composed of a synthetic resin have sidewalls 21a and 21b in peripheral parts, and a magnetic disk 10 is rotatably stored in a space prepared in the cases. A hub 11 has a spindle hole 12, and is rotated unitedly with the disk 10. A stage part 11 of the outer periphery of the hub 11 is sandwiched by the upper and lower cases, and the movement of the disk in the thrust direction and radius direction of a driving shaft is regulated in a necessary range. The hub 11 is fitted rotatably with hub holes 24a and 24b of the cases. Slotted hole openings 23a and 23b are provided on the upper and lower cases, and a magnetic head is made movable in the radius direction by abutting against the disk 10. Rings 25a, 25b and 26a, 26b for regulating positions covered with a carbon protective layer along the inner and outer peripheries of the disk 10 are opposedly arranged. By such a constitution, the cartridge excellent in the durability and reliability can be obtained. |
