titleOfInvention Polyester resin composition of excellent moldability
abstract PURPOSE:To make it possible to form a polyester resin which exhibits good moldability when molded with a molding machine at a mold temperature usually used, by mixing an ethylene terephthalate polyester resin with a filler, a sodium salt of a carboxylic polymer and a polyalkylene glycol compound. CONSTITUTION:This composition mainly consists of 100pts.wt. polyester resin (A) having an intrinsic viscosity >=0.4 and comprising at least 80mol.%, based on the total structural units, ethylene terephthalate units, 10-140pts.wt. reinforcing substance or filler (B), 0.05-20pts.wt. sodium or potassium salt (C) of an alpha-olefin/alpha,beta-unsaturated carboxylic acid copolymer and 0.1-10pts.wt. polyalkylene glycol compound (D) of formula I (wherein R1 and R1' are each a lower alkyl group, R2 is a 2-4C alkylene group, and n is a number >=5).
