abstract PURPOSE:To obtain the titled cosmetic showing excellent stability, having a refreshing feeling in application to the skin even in a solid state, containing a silicone oil, solid wax, a specific amount of water and a specific polyoxyalkylene modified organopolysiloxane. CONSTITUTION:A water-in-oil emulsified cosmetic which contains (A) a silicone oil, preferably a volatile silicone oil shown by formula I or formula II (i=1-4; j=0-3), (B) solid wax consisting essentially of 25-52C straight-chain and/or branched hydrocarbon wax, (C) water and (D) one or more polyoxyalkylene modified organopolysiloxanes selected from compounds shown by formula III-VI (R is 1-3C alkyl or phenyl; R' is H or 1-12C alkyl; p is 1-5 integer; m is 5-100 integer; n and x are 1-50 integer; t and y are 0-50 integer) as essential components, has >=5wt.% based on sum of the cosmetic of water and the above-mentioned effects.
