abstract | PURPOSE:To obtain the titled treating agent for simultaneous dressing of paddy rice seed and exhibiting remarkable effect in paddy direct-sowing cultivation of paddy rice seed, by mixing silica clay, zeolite and/or synthetic zeolite to calcium peroxide and using the mixture as an active component. CONSTITUTION:The objective agent having bacteriostatic effect and germination and rooting promotion effect for directly sowed paddy rice seed contains, as an active component, a mixture produced by mixing (A) calcium peroxide known as a growth regulator for rice seed to be directly sowed to flooded paddy field with (B) one or more components selected from silica clay, zeolite and synthetic zeolite. The amount of the component B is preferably about 25wt.% based on the component A. The use of the agent in the form of a simultaneous dressing agent is effective in promoting the germination and rooting of directly sowed paddy rice, remarkably improving the percentage establishment and exterminating pathogens attached to or included in the seed. |
