titleOfInvention Chromogen hemispherand and use thereof for detection of electrolyte in water inspection sample
abstract PURPOSE: To quickly and accurately detect an electrolyte contained in an aqueous inspection sample by using chromogen hemispherand having a specific structure. CONSTITUTION: An electrolyte contained in an aqueous inspection sample can be detected quickly and accurately by measuring the electrolyte by using chromogen hemispherand having the structure expressed by the formula. In the formula, the R, R", and P respectively represent one or more of a lower or higher alkyl group, alkenyl group. etc., one or more of lower or higher alkyl group, alkylidyne group, etc., and an aliphatic or aromatic subunit, for example, CR2 R2 OCr2 CR2 . The (m), (n), and Q respectively represent 0-3, 1-3, and chromogen which can bring out a color, changes its color, or can make another detectable response under the presence of a specific cation.
