PURPOSE: To effectively separate oligonucleotide by performing chromatography processing by using a support having a weak anion exchange group which is close to at least one polar nonionic group. CONSTITUTION: Various kinds of supports, such as the Si support, alumina support, organic polymer support, etc., can be used as a chromatographic filler for separating oligonucleotide. A desirable support is an inert porous support composed of small particles of 2-30μm, preferably, about 3μm to 6μm in diameter. The particles must be stable in an inorganic solvent, such as the toluene, etc., and the most preferable support is an Si support. The silane coupling phase constituting the filler has a weak anion exchange group which is close to a polar nonionic group and several hydrophobic sections. The silane coupling phase has, for example, the 'structure expressed by the formula. |
