abstract | PURPOSE:To provide the titled additive permitting the pump transportation and direct boiler combustion of the coal-water slurry, by containing a condensate (salt) of naphthalenesulfonic acid or the like, a specific fatty acid (salt), an ethylene oxide adduct of an alkylphenol, etc. in a specified ratio. CONSTITUTION:The objective additive contains essentially (A) 40-90(wt.)% of a formaldehyde condensate (salt) of an (alkyl)naphthalenesulfonic acid, (B) 30-5% of a 6-22C (preferably 6-10C) fatty acid (salt) and (C) 30-5% of (i) a compound produced by adding 50-30mol. (preferably 75-125mol.) of ethylene oxide to a (8-12C) alkylphenol or (ii) a compound produced by adding ethylene oxide to a polhydric alcohol having 3-6 active hydrogens in the molecule in an amount of 3-150mol. (preferably 5-30mol.) of the ethylene oxide per active hydrogen. |
