titleOfInvention Additive for coal-water slurry having high life and concentration
abstract PURPOSE:To obtain the titled additive enabling transportation by pump and direct boiler combustion, containing a compound (salt) obtained by sulfonating a mixture containing polycyclic aromatic compounds at specific ratio and condensing the sulfonated product and fatty acid (salt). CONSTITUTION:The aimed additive containing (A) a compound [average condensation degree: 10-500 (preferably 35-100)] obtained by sulfonating a mixture containing (i) 40-70wt.% naphthalene, (ii) 10-40% alkylnaphthalene, (iii) 1-20% anthracene and (iv) 1-15% diphenyl as essential components and then condensing the sulfonated product with formaldehyde or salt thereof and (B) average 6-22C (preferably 6-10C) fatty acid (salt) preferably at a blend ratio of 50/50-98/2.
