titleOfInvention Novel thioamide derivative, production thereof and germicide for agriculture and hosticulture containing said derivative
abstract NEW MATERIAL:A thioamide derivative expressed by formula I (R is alkyl, alkenyl, furyl, thienyl or phenyl). EXAMPLE:alpha-(1,3-Dimethylpyrazol-4-ylcarbonylamino)-(2-thienyl)aceto thioamide. USE:Useful as a germicide for agriculture and hosticulture exhibiting controlling effect against wide range of plant disease injury, especially effective to epidemic and downy mildew (e.g. epidemic of potato or tomato) of various kind of crops by fungus and having excellent controlling effect against plant disease injury and simultaneously effective to treatment therefor and usable at a low medicine amount and concentration and having no toxicity to crop plants, warm blood animals and fishes. PREPARATION:Cyanomethylcarbamoylpyrazoles expressed by formula II are reacted with hydrogen sulfide in a solvent to provide the compound expressed by formula I. The compound expressed by formula II is obtained from a compound expressed by formula III and compound expressed by formula IV.
