titleOfInvention Ferrite with conductive metal film and manufacture thereof
abstract PURPOSE:To obtain a radio wave absorbing electromagnetic shielding material having an ultrathin type and an excellent electromagnetic shielding effect by surface treating a ferrite with solution containing palladium halide, and then bringing it into contact with alkaline solution containing conductive metal salt, reducing agent and boron hydride compound. CONSTITUTION:A ferrite having a conductive metal coating is provided by treating a ferrite material with a solution containing palladium haride and then bringing it into contact with an alkaline solution containing a salt of conductive metal, a reducing agent, and a boron hydride compound, or else into contact with an alkaline solution containing a salt of conductive metal and a boron hydride compound and further with an alkaline solution containing a reducing agent. Thus, conductive materials can be in contact continuously with less conductive material. Further, since it has composite particle structure having the ferrite, excellent magnetic characteristic and high dielectric constant are exhibited, and excellent radio wave absorbing ability and electromagnetic shielding ability are provided.
