titleOfInvention | Novel block copolymer |
abstract | PURPOSE:To obtain the titled polymer having excellent stretchability, etc., by dissolving a linear polymeric compound in a organic solvent, adding a tert- amine, a neutral amino acid-N-carbonate anhydride and an omega-alkyl acidic amino acid-N-carbonate anhydride to the mixture and reacting the components with each other. CONSTITUTION:A linear polymeric compound having primary amino group, secondary amino group, epoxy group or hydroxyl group at one or both terminals is dissolved in an organic solvent free from active hydrogen (e.g. N,N- dimethylformamide). The obtained solution is added with a tertiary amine (e.g. triethylamine), a neutral amino acid-N-carbonate anhydride of formula I (R is 3-7C alkyl, etc.) and an omega-alkyl acidic amino acid-N-carbonate anhydride of formula II (R1 is 1-4C alkyl, etc.; n is 1 or 2) and reacted to obtain the objective transparent copolymer having high stability and excellent heat- resistance, abrasion resistance, etc., and suitable as a surface-treating agent for synthetic leather, etc., without using a halogen-containing solvent. |
