titleOfInvention Nutritious solution controller for nutritious cultivation
abstract PURPOSE:To obtain the titled device capable of feeding a nutritious solution to a culture medium according to water content measured from propagation speed of sound waves propagating in the culture medium and controlling the flow rate of the nutritious solution to a value optimum for growth of plants. CONSTITUTION:Sound waves (S) are applied from a speaker 20 to a culture medium 6 in which a plant 4 is set, passed therethrough and then received by a microphone 21. A sensed signal (Vw) of the flow rate of a nutritious solution is taken from a water content sensor 2 for sensing the water content of the culture medium from the propagation speed of the sound waves (S) by an irrigation controlling part 8 to calculate the flow rate (W0) of the nutritious solution corresponding to the water content fed as the optimum irrigation flow rate. An irrigator 10 is capable of preparing water and nutritious solution required for cultivating the plant 4 and simultaneously weighing the irrigation flow rate based on an irrigation control signal (Vw0) from the irrigation controlling part 8 and feeding the nutritious solution determined by the irrigation flow rate to the culture medium.
