titleOfInvention Measuring method for water in incubation land
abstract PURPOSE:To make measurement accurate and speedy by providing a sound source which applies a sound wave to the incubation land and a wave receiving means which receives the sound wave passed through the incubation land, and measuring the amount of water from the propagation speed of the sound wave propagated in the incubation land. CONSTITUTION:Two opposite sides are set as a measurement place in the incubation land 4, a speaker 6 which generates the sound wave S is installed on one side, and a microphone 8 which receives the sound wave S is installed on the other. The microphone 8 converts the sound wave into a received signal Vgamma, which is amplified and waveform-shaped by a reception part 14 and compared by a phase detection part 16 with an oscillation signal VS applied from an amplification part 12 through a control part 18 to generate their phase difference phi. A water detector 20 converts the phase difference phi into a water amount signal VW to obtain the amount of water.
