titleOfInvention Molding resin composition
abstract PURPOSE:To make it possible to form a molding silicon resin composition having a flow property suited for extrusion and blow molding, by mixing a polyphenylene ether resin with a styrene copolymer containing silane compound monomer units. CONSTITUTION:This resin composition is composed of 10-90wt.% polyphenylene ether resin (A) and 90-10wt.% styrene copolymer containing silane compound monomer units or mixture of this copolymer and a polystyrene resin. The content of said silane compound monomer units is 0.005-0.1wt.% based on the total weight of the composition. As said silane compound monomers, gamma- methacryloxypropyltrimethoxysilane, gamma-methacryloxypropylmethyldimethoxysilane and gamma-metacryloxypropyltriethoxysilane are desirable.
