titleOfInvention | Optical densitometer |
abstract | PURPOSE:To take a measurement efficiently with high accuracy by measuring the temperature of light sources and a photodetection part or their ambient temperature and correcting a measured value with the measured temperature. CONSTITUTION:A temperature measuring circuit 23 measures the temperature of the light sources 4 and 5 and photodetection part 6 or their ambient temperature when calibration is performed while a sample is not inserted and when density measuring operation is performed while the sample is inserted. Further, a storage means 26 is stored with information regarding the temperature measurement such as the light emission quantities, peak wavelengths, and photodetection output of the light sources 4 and 5 and photodetecting means 6. A control arithmetic circuit 21 corrects measured values at the time of calibration and measurement which are inputted from the photodetection part 6 according to said temperature. Namely, said measured values are corrected into measured values of reference temperature according to said measured temperature value and stored information. Then a specific component, e.g. chlorophyll in a sample leaf is calculated from the quantity of incident light and the quantity of light transmitted through the sample leaf which are corrected with the temperature. |
